Kaleb earned his first National Championship on Tuesday July 13 as he won the Jr. 2 Light feature at University Plains Speedway in Brookings, SD. He started 7th in the A main in his TRR powered Phantom Chassis and stayed in the top 5 throughout the main. With just a couple laps remaining Kaleb was running third and as he was coming out of turn 4 for the white flag he passed the leader and held on for the final lap and his first National Championship. Midwest Speedway Tour Round 2

The Midwest Speedway Tour moved to the University Plains Speedway in Brookings, SD. on June 5 & 6. The flathead portion of the weekend on Saturday ended up getting rained out. So on Sunday we bolted on the Animal engine as Kaleb ran all 3 classes and finished second in all 3 features.

2010 MST Opener

Kaleb took to the Wavelink Raceway Park in Waverly, NE. for the second time this season. This time was the IKF Midwest Speedway Tour. On Saturday Kaleb raced in 3 flathead classes. In the first feature Kaleb jumped out to the early lead and stayed in front until the yellow flew with one lap remaining. On the restart Kaleb's tires did not take off and he fell to fourth. Congrats to Michael Nichols on his win. In the Medium feature Kaleb fell back to 10th after starting 8th and worked his way back up to 5th. He finished 5th in the Light feature as well. IKF Northland Tour

Kaleb raced with IKF Northland Tour at the University Plains Speedway in Brookings, SD. May 15th & 16th. On Saturday Kaleb ended up 7th in the Jr. 2 animal Light feature after getting sent to the back 2 laps from the end. He went on to win the Jr. 2 Animal Heavy feature. On Sunday Kaleb would end up 2nd in the Animal Light feature and he led all 15 laps to win the Animal Heavy feature.

2010 Tulsa Shootout

Kaleb competed in his second Tulsa Shootout at the Qwik Trip Center in Tulsa, OK. over the New Year's weekend. On Friday he won both of his Flathead heat races and finished 4th in the Jr. Animal heat race. The go-kart features were run early Saturday morning as Kaleb started third in the Jr. 2 Light 15 lap feature. He jumped out to the early lead for 2 laps and then faded to 4th at the finish as we went too soft on the tires. 2009 Turkey Chase

Kaleb won 4 out of 6 features on Thanksgiving weekend at the annual Turkey Chase indoor race at the Lancaster Event Center in Lincoln, NE. On Friday Kaleb won both Jr. 2 Light and Heavy features. On Saturday he won the Jr. 2 Light feature and finished 3rd in Jr. 2 Heavy. In the Grand finale on Sunday he started last in the Light feature and ended up getting crashed. After making some quick repairs he made it out to his 3rd starting spot in the 20 lap $800 to win heavy feature. Kaleb led all 20 laps for the biggest win of his career.

Kaleb Sweeps Monster Mash

Kaleb swept all 4 Jr. 2 races at the Lancaster Events Center in Lincoln, NE. Saturday started on the pole of the Jr.2 Light feature and led all 15 laps. He started 3rd in the Jr. 2 Heavy feature and with 6 laps remaining took the lead and led the remainder for the victory. Sunday Kaleb won both features in his TRR powered Phantom Chassis.

Boogieman Marathon

Kaleb raced at the 5th annual Boogieman Race in Kansas City, KS. on Saturday and into Sunday morning. He started 15th in the Jr.2 Heavy feature and raced his way up to 5th at the checkered. He really needed a caution as he was one of the faster karts at the end the feature. In the Jr. 2 Light feature he ended up starting 24th and ended in 9th at the finish in another race that went green- white- checkered.

Kaleb secures Northland Tour title

Kaleb entered the final weekend of the IKF Northland Tour in third and first in the Junior 2 Animal divisions. With 2 runner-up finishes at the Atwater Speedway in the Light division Kaleb jumped up to second in the final standings. Congratulations to Dillon Sampson for winning the Jr. 2 Light title. Kaleb went the entire season without winning a feature in the Jr. 2 Animal Heavy feature but his consistant finishes over the course of the season earned him the 2009 Championship.

Kaleb clinches Midwest Speedway tour Championship

With 3 wins over the weekend Kaleb earned both the Junior 2 Light & Heavy Championships in the IKF Midwest Speedway Tour series for 2009. On Saturday Kaleb earned the clean sweep as he won all 4 heat races and both A features. On Sunday he finished second behind Max Jacobson in the Jr. 2 Light feature thus earning him the championship by 1 point over Jacobson. Kaleb wrapped up the weekend by winning the Jr. 2 Heavy feature from the fifth starting spot.
