Kaleb earned his first National Championship on Tuesday July 13 as he won the Jr. 2 Light feature at University Plains Speedway in Brookings, SD. He started 7th in the A main in his TRR powered Phantom Chassis and stayed in the top 5 throughout the main. With just a couple laps remaining Kaleb was running third and as he was coming out of turn 4 for the white flag he passed the leader and held on for the final lap and his first National Championship. On Wednesday things didn't end up so well as Kaleb got freight-trained early in the feature and fell back to 8th. Then coming down the backstretch another kart shot across the track into Kaleb and he ended up in the muddy infield ending his night.

Kaleb took to the Wavelink Raceway Park in Waverly, NE. for the second time this season. This time was the IKF Midwest Speedway Tour. On Saturday Kaleb raced in 3 flathead classes. In the first feature Kaleb jumped out to the early lead and stayed in front until the yellow flew with one lap remaining. On the restart Kaleb's tires did not take off and he fell to fourth. Congrats to Michael Nichols on his win. In the Medium feature Kaleb fell back to 10th after starting 8th and worked his way back up to 5th. He finished 5th in the Light feature as well. On Sunday we bolted on the Waller Animal engine and Kaleb won both heavy heat races to earn the pole for the feature where he led all 15 laps for the win. In the medium feature he finished 9th.
